In April 2022 we organised two workshops, the first for stock, fx and crypto and the second for the energy markets in which we covered the basic concept of technical analysis. At this workshop Trevor will dive dipper into specialised areas such as volume profile analysis, advanced candlestick charting, Ichimoku cloud charting, systematic trading using Phyton, etc.

Workshop description
Nowadays there is flood of various instructional videos on technical analysis and trading available on the Internet and there are thousands of books on the subject, however, it is one thing to learn the different subjects yourself and something completely different to listen to and interact with one of the leading experts on the subjects.
Our workshop is the only one wholly tailored to the needs of an institutional workflow and within two days we will cover some of the most important advanced topics in technical analysis such as avoiding false breaks, using Fibbonaci retracements and projections with confidence, how to determine whether support and resistance will hold or break, how to build systematic rule based systems, etc.
Due to the advanced nature of the subjects covered during the workshop a strong foundation in technical analysis and trading is recommended for participants.
Lecturer
Trevor Neil
Trevor is a portfolio manager with 40 years of professional market experience since starting as a coffee floor trader for Merrill Lynch in 1974. Trevor’s trading expertise includes commodities, forex, bonds, energy and power and equities and equities derivatives. Trevor was on the committee which formed the Society of Technical Analysts, the UK professional body and created the CFTe exam, now accepted worldwide as a leading qualification for technical analysts. He was for four years Head of Technical Analysis at Bloomberg before returning to manage a hedge fund again on 2004. He is currently a fund manager and professional technical analyst based in the UK.
He is an Accredited Training Provider of CISI.org. BETA Group courses in association with the ACI International world-wide. He is an Associate Editor of The Technical Analyst Magazine.
