About SEEMT
The South and Eastern Europe Market Technicians Association (SEEMT). Speakers
Trevor Neil
Seasoned trader and technical analyst with over 40 years of experience in the industry. In 1974, he began his career as a floor trader on the London Coffee Exchange, marking his first job after school. Since then, Trevor has remained actively involved in trading and has become a respected figure in the field.
His expertise spans various financial instruments, including equities, derivatives, foreign exchange, commodities, energy, electricity, and power. Furthermore, Trevor offers valuable insight into asset allocation, making him a sought-after authority on financial matters.
David Linton
MFTA is one of the UK’s leading Technical Analysts and a well-known market commentator. He is the founder and CEO of Updata based in London. He is the author of ‘Cloud Charts – Trading success with the Ichimoku technique.’ He is teaches the Ichimoku module for the UK Society of Technical Analysts Diploma Course and he is a member of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts. David has recently joined Trevor Neil FSTA to become a partner at Betagroup.
Alessandro Greppi PhD
Highly passionate and skilled professional with a deep interest in wealth management, trading, and the application of artificial intelligence in financial markets. Currently, he holds the position of Unit Linked & Pension Funds Portfolio Manager at Zurich Investment Life in Milan. In this role, hisprimary focus is on developing and implementing asset allocation models, as well as leveraging Artificial Intelligence-based approaches for the selection of ETFs and Mutual Funds. He also specialize in ESG products and cross-assets technical analysis.
Petar Jacimovic
Highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in the financial industry. As the CEO of ProsperiumFX, he leads a team of experts and oversee the operations of the company, providing comprehensive trading solutions to clients.
With over 15 years of experience as a professional trader, he possess a deep understanding of market dynamics and have developed successful trading strategies across various financial instruments. Furthermore, his expertise extends to fund management, where he has effectively managed client portfolios and generated consistent returns.
Alex Spiroglou
Is a quasi-systematic, cross asset proprietary futures trader. His involvement with capital markets begun in 1998, having worked for various Proprietary trading and investment management firms in the UK and Greece. He is currently trading his own book, and is active in all major liquid futures markets, across all major asset classes (equity, interest rates, FX, commodities),while enjoying life with his family and the most amazing cat in the world (Greko), by the beautiful coast of South-East England.
Alex over the years has build an extensive database of models and indicators, that includes inputs from intermarket analysis, CoT, sentiment, economic statistics, and thus developed a rules-based “Multiple timeframe, multiple factor” (MTMF) approach. his passion for research resulted in being an awarded Market technician, having received the NAAIM “Founders Award”, for advances in Active Investment Management (2022) and the CMT Association “Charles H. Dow Award”, for outstanding research in Technical Analysis (2022), for his paper “MACD-v: Volatility normalised momentum”.
David Murawski
Founder of Mustermanns Traders Club. He is 4x Tradingview.com Award Winner – Takeprofit.com TA visonary Angle – autism professional. He is Head of Education at Papperstone, Germany.
Enrico Malverti
Quantitative analyst and trader with 22 years of experience, specialized in algorithm design for all asset classes: forex, stocks, futures, funds, cryptocurrencies. He has been holding managerial roles within asset management companies and fintech companies: for 4 years He was a member of the board of directors of an Italian SIM and head of the consulting team. He managed hedge funds and SICAVs, including a sub-fund in the top ten of the category in 2011.
He worked and lived in London as a portfolio manager, with a CF30 license issued by FCA, from 2013 to 2017. Since 2009 he has been providing reports, algorithms and model portfolios to bank treasuries.
He is vice president of SIAT, the Italian association of technical and quantitative analysis, part of IFTA (International Federation of Technical Analysis).
Snezhana Popovska
Ms. Snezhana has been in financial markets for over 15 years. She is the only Individual holding some of the most coveted certificates in the financial Industry in Macedonia. Snezhana is a Chartered Market technician (CMT), CMT Association, USA and a Certified Financial technician (CFTe), International Federation of Technical Analysts. She also possesses ACI Dealing Certificate and a licence for Investment advisor. In her professional career, she is associated with ACI Macedonia and a member of the Educational Board of ACI Macedonia. She is a keen believer in financial freedom through financial literacy. In her career spanning over a decade, Snezhana has a love for Technical analysis, besides Mountain biking and Yoga, and believes the behavioral and psychological aspects of trading and investing can be managed with proper education and systematic trading. Snezhana is frequently quoted in various leading magazines with her articles and insights on financial markets.
Dr. Roland Demmel
Before founding Quantic Financial Solutions, Roland Demmel was a Senior Partner with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants heading up the German Risk Management Practice. Prior to Roland Berger, he spent most of his consulting career with Oliver Wyman as a manager and with KPMG as a Senior Partner providing advisory services to major business banks and Central Banks in Europe, South Africa and Asia. Roland studied Economics and Engineering in Karlsruhe [DE], and did his PhD in Economics in SaarbrUcken [DE].
